The Bridge of Hope Ministry (located within Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church, 1441 Fangboner Rd, Fremont) is a combined effort of the LIFT partnership between several local United Methodist Churches and Lutheran Churches. The mission of this ministry is to be in relationship people from all walks of life in Fremont and Sandusky County, especially the emerging and growing Hispanic and Latino population. Patrons of Bridge of Hope are welcomed once per week to shop the food pantry & clothes closet, request diapers/wipes and receive referrals to other community resources. Limited household information is collected for reporting to donors but no photo id or proof of income is necessary.
Those who are able to generously support Bridge of Hope are invited to donate non-perishable food items, diapers, or wipes during any hours that the ministry is open. Hayes Memorial UMC also has collection baskets available inside the office entrance where items can be left during the church's open hours. Financial donations can be made via check to LIFT Parish with the designation of Bridge of Hope on the memo line and mailed to 705 W State St., Fremont, OH 43420.
If you are interested in volunteering with Bridge of Hope or have any other questions, please contact Ashley our Bridge of Hope Coordinator via call/text at 419-463-2683.
