I WAS HUNGRY AND YOU FED ME, I WAS THIRSTY AND YOU GAVE ME A DRINK, I WAS HOMELESS AND YOU GAVE ME A ROOM, I WAS SHIVERING AND YOU GAVE ME CLOTHES, I WAS SICK AND YOU STOPPED TO VISIT, I WAS IN PRISON AND YOU CAME TO ME.
MATTHEW 25:35-36 (MSG)
LIFT Parish strives to serve the entire community to which God has called us to consider to be our neighbor. We invite you to explore our sub pages for more details on each of our ongoing ministry programs for Serving Our Community. In addition to our direct ministry programs, LIFT also serves as the Fiscal Agent for Project LifeSaver a public safety program designed to protect and locate missing persons due to wandering. More information about Project LifeSaver is available at this link.
Please check back to this page for seasonal opportunities to serve our community such as snack collections for ACE Mentoring Program, School Supply Giveaway, Community Christmas, and much more!
Join us this summer for our Community Garden | Harvest for All! Our garden beds are located at Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church along the driveway leading to Fangboner Road. All are invited to pull some weeds and take what they need as the harvest happens throughout the summer/early fall. We are looking for a committed "Volunteer of the Day" to ensure that watering happens daily and nothing is missed for harvesting! Please consider signing up via this link if you have a green thumb rb.gy/yv0rrs This garden is made possible through a partnership of LIFT Parish and Creating Healthy Communities Coalition of Sandusky County Public Health.
